A driver run sheet app that works in dead spots
Each driver signs in on their own phone and sees today's run in the order the office set — with photos, dockets and prestart checks done at the truck, not at the end of the day.
Today's run, in order
The office plans the run; the driver sees each stop with the job type, customer, address and bin size. Deliveries, changeovers, pickups and tip-site stops are colour-coded so nobody turns up with the wrong truck. A separate "Needs tipping" list shows full bins on the truck that still have to go over a weighbridge.
Proof at every stop
Drivers take delivery and pickup photos in the app, fill in the docket and capture a signature where you need one. Photos are compressed on the phone and stored privately for your company, so when a customer says "that wasn't there when you dropped it", you have the photo with the date and time.
Prestart checks
The daily prestart is a checklist on the phone. Anything that fails goes straight to the Workshop app with the truck and the driver's note, and shows as an alert in Fleet Command.

No signal? Keep going.
Every phone keeps a copy of the company's RunDesk data and a queue of the driver's changes. In a dead spot a "working offline" banner shows; the driver carries on, and everything sends by itself when the phone is back in range. If two people change the same job, RunDesk merges the changes field by field instead of throwing one away.
Location, only when it matters
RunDesk doesn't track drivers in the background. With the phone's permission it records one location when a driver clocks in or out and, if you switch it on, when a bin is delivered — so the pickup driver can find it. If a driver says no, the app still works.
Fleet Command for the dispatcher
Whoever is running the trucks uses Fleet Command: all of today's jobs, how many each driver has left, what still needs tipping, truck alerts, and a quick "new order" for the job that rings in at 7 am. Allocate or move a job and it appears on the driver's run sheet.
Any phone
RunDesk runs in the phone's web browser and can be added to the home screen like an app (iPhone and Android). App Store and Google Play versions are on the way. Drivers each get their own login, and only see the Driver app.
