RunDesk

Online bin hire bookings on your own website

Customers choose a bin, a date and their address on your website. RunDesk prices it from your own sizes and zones, checks you have the bin, and puts the request in Booking Approvals.

Priced by your rules, on the server

The widget shows your bin sizes and prices and works out the delivery zone from the customer's address, adding your zone surcharge. When the customer presses book, RunDesk works the price out again on the server from your own data — a price changed in the browser is ignored, and if your prices changed in the meantime the customer is asked to check the new price.

Only bins you actually have

Stock is checked the same way the office checks it: bins in the yard, bins out, and bookings between now and the requested day. Days you've marked as fully booked aren't offered, and two customers can't both book the last bin.

You stay in control

Every online booking arrives as a request in Office › Booking Approvals, marked as coming from the website. Check the address against the zone, approve it onto the calendar, or call the customer. Areas where you want a phone call first can be set to "please call us".

Protected from spam

Each IP address, phone number and email can only make a few bookings a day, a waiting request only holds a bin for 48 hours, and the form can't read any of your data — it can only send a request.

Online card payments are being connected to payment providers. Until that's switched on for your company, website bookings come through as requests with no payment taken, and you take payment as you do now.
